Mount Victoria Trekking

          Mt. Victoria (the third highest peak in Myanmar 10500 ft-3350 meters) is the southern out post of Himalayas, isolated and possesses many species birds and plants, offers a great opportunity for bird watching activities. Overnight will be in a bungalow with basic but comfortable accommodations. .Throughout the way in lower elevations we will be walking in secondary vegetation with patches of semi cultivated areas and pine forest. At the Chin village, opportunity to observe way of life in Chin tribe. You could note Chin tribe women wearing various pattern of tattoo on their face. It is quite attractive sceneries with numerous kinds of native birds.

Situated in south west of Myanmar.

The temperature is cool year round and pleasant.

Scenery
Located on the eastern site of Chin state. Whole state is situated at 4860 above sea level. The surroundings of Min Dat has semi-cultivated land with some areas of Pine forest. The forest above (7000)it is a pristine broadleaf evergreen forest with patches of small bamboo. Forest type above 9000 it is mostly oaks and rhododendrons and some grasses lands.

Birds and Butterflies watching
Myanmar is a tropical country, located on a various geo-taxonomic regions. The geographical diversity brings forth a richness in biodiversity. Natmataung (Mount Victoria), 10500 feet high, in southern Chin State is an ecological island and a refuge for numerous temperate and sub-alpine species. Tropical, sub-tropical and temperate semi-evergreen and evergreen forests with 2500 vascular plant species are found there and endemism is mainly in alpine and at mid-altitudes. Forest not only sustain many endemic plants and animals but are also the source of water which nourishes all life.

Ethnic Study
Observing to many of Chin tribes, well known as the tattooed women in colorful national dress, doing household chores with smoking pipes in their mouth local youths in national dress welcomed and greeted the visitors in ceremonial fashion complete with bonfires and dances. The other interested tribes is the Naga .They are mainly settle in between the Indian border and Chindwin river They also use to tattoo on their face for indicating of their villages and tribes .The attraction are not only the unaltered forest but also the farmed hillsides and villages .Visitor can directly study and observe the breadth of chin culture and life style.

Natural flower exploring
There are many opportunities to get in touch with nature. Most area are widely recover the broad leaved and pine forest ,useful and medicinal plants ,wild orchids lianas woody climbers that hung from trees cycads which are ancient palm like plants bearing large male and female cones rhododendrons-shrubs or small trees with large cluster of bell shaped flowers and typically with large evergreen leaves .Forests that grow on top of mountains are usually lush ad thick and most of the trees are thickly covered with moss and ferns. At a glance, it seems like these trees are wrapped with woolen sweaters to protect them from coldness and damp mist.
