Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by guide and check-in to Hotel.
Lunch at local restaurant and explore Yangon City starting with Sule Pagoda -
right in the center of city, a soulful place in daily Yangon life, Botataung
Pagoda the land mark of Yangon River- front, Chaukhtatgyi Paya a colossal
reclining Buddha, Shwedagon Pagoda the great golden stupa in the bell shape
rising 98 meters above its base and gilded with 60 tons of pure gold by devout
Buddhists over centuries. Welcome dinner, and take rest at the Hotel.
Day 02: Yangon- Kawthaung [by flight]
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Kawthaung. Welcome by our tour guide.
Check in to Hotel. Day at leisure in Kawthaung.
Day 03: Kawthaung-Mergui Archipelago [by boat]
After breakfast, sightseeing in this interesting Kawthaung area. Lunch at local
Restaurant. After lunch, day at leisure in Hotel.
Depart from Kawthaung early evening for the islands of the Mergui Archipelago.
Day 04: Mergui Archipelago (Crescent Bay, Palau Laviaung island & Salone
Village)
Morning spent relaxing and snorkeling at Crescent Bay (a cluster of islands
grouped together to from a beautiful bay) with
white beaches in every direction. Afternoon sailing north to Palau Laviaung
Island. A few hours spent at this beautiful spot for beach exploration and
swimming. Afternoon traveling north again to Pulau Nala to visit the Moken (sea
gypsy) village. Evening at anchor in this vicinity.
Day 05: Mergui Archipelago (Lampe island)
Exploring Lampi island including a visit to the southern most of the islands
mangrove rivers using the inflatable dinghy and
Kayaks. Afternoon sail north along the western coast of Lampi visiting Pulau
Tayu, anchoring at kubo islands.
Day 06: Mergui Archipelago (Salet Galet)
River visit to the northern-most river on Lampi island, tide permitting.
Afternoon spent sailing and exploring Kubo Island.
Evening at Salet Galet, a secluded S shaped channel that guarantees a calm,
secluded anchorage. This is good place for
bird-life including hombills. Crab-eaching maqaqes (monkey) can be seen her on
the shoreline feasting on oysters.
Day 07: Mergui Archipelago (Calara Island)
Early morning sail to Clara Island. The day to be spent snorkeling, swimming,
diving and relaxing here. Barbecue in the
evening- weather permitting on one of the archipelagos most beautiful beaches.
Day 08: Mergui Archipelago (caven,MC Carthy and Steward Island)
Early morning sail south to dive site named In through the out-door! Continue
traveling south stopping at Cavern, Mc Carthy and Stewart Islands of diving in
this vicinity. Late afternoon departure for return to Kawthaung, arriving early
next morning.
Day 09: Mergui Archipelago - Kawthaung [by boat]
Arriving early morning to Kawthaung. Day at leisure in Kawthaung.
Day 10: Kawthaung-Yangon [by flight]
Transfer to Kawthaung airport for departure to Yangon by air. Transfer to your
hotel.
Day 11: Departure Yangon
After breakfast shopping for the beloved ones at home or for yourself at Bogyoke
Market (formerly known as Scott Market) a shopping mall with hundreds of
souvenir shops to bargain. Evening transfer to the airport for the departure
flight.
