Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Yangon Arrival
Arrival to Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Depending on your Int'l flight, that day
will be half day sightseeing. Sightseeing include, Chauk Htet Gyi Pagoda (A huge
reclining Buddha Image), Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), National museum,
Bo Gyoke Aung San market, and the glittering Shwe Da Gone Pagoda( one of the
famous pagoda in Myanmar). Overnight in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon Myitkyina (Culture Sightseeing) [by flight]
Morning transfer to Yangon Airport for departure, Myanmar Airways flight to
Myitkyina. Upon arrival in Myitkyina transfer to the hotel and check in. Horse
cart ride excursion in the town, enjoy sunset at the riverbank. Overnight
accommodation at the hotel in Myitkyina.
Day 03: Myitkyina (Elephant camp study and Hiking)
Morning excursion to the elephant camp taking about seven miles drive from
Myitkyina. There is a Kachin village and from there take one hour trekking into
the forest to observe elephants loitering freely around. Then trek back to the
elephant camp crossing streams and creeks, observing again elephants splashing
and bathing in the water. Back at the camp, participate in cooking and enjoy
typical Kachin food. After that, trek around enjoying the natural beauty and
scenic environs. In the evening drive back to Myitkyina.
Day 04: Myitkyina- Inndaw Gyi Lake (Bird Watching) [by car]
Morning drive to Hopin. Riding continue to Indawgyi Lake, enjoy in the scene of
lake, birding and exploring in the forest, the lake is also one of the famous
birding site in Myanmar. Spend your time in the lake for birding and relaxing,
Evening sunset at Nammon village and overnight.
Day 05: Inndaw Gyi Lake (Study to Wet land Eco System)
A full day excursion in Indawgyi Lake, Shwemyinzu midwater Pagoda and villages
around the area. Observation of water birds, water fowls, forest dwelling birds
and enjoy the wetland ecosystem. This vast picturesque lake is wetland
surrounded by mixed lowland evergreen forest and deciduous forest.
Day 06: Inndaw Gyi Lake Myitkyina [by car]
Coach journey back to Myitkyina. Upon arriving transfer to your hotel and
overnight.
Day 07: Myitkyina Putao (Ethnic Study) [by flight]
Take flight to Putao trip, arriving to Putao, one of the hilly region and it is
the famous land for it's snowcapped mountain and Mt Khakaborazi is one of the
highest peak of South East Asia. It is also remarkable land for it's colorful
People. There are about (12) clans of Kachin people are living in unity and
peace. The first day sightseeing to Putao and it's surrounding places, local
dwellers and their plantation farm.
Day 08: Putao (Hiking to Tribes Villages)
Hiking to land tribes people villages, Rawan people, Azi people, and Lisu people
villages are worth places to visit. Exploring their culture, their interested
traditions and their people are the one which cannot discover in any other where
of the world. Take your meals at local village with lunch box. Go back to Putao
at evening and overnight at your hotel.
Day 09: Putao Myitkyina- Yangon [by flight]
Morning leaving to airport for Yangon. Arriving to Yangon and directly transfer
to your hotel to take relax and overnight at Yangon.
Day 10: Yangon Dept
Leave to Yangon airport for your Int'l flight, hope that you will get peace and
pleasure trip at our brothers land of Kachin state.
