Bagan
It is the best place to buy lacquer ware products the villages of new Bagan and are centers of traditional lacquer manufacture. In the near by town of Nyaung U there is a large local market, which is a lively and colorful place to observe local life and customs. Bagan lacquers are made from Bamboo and painted with a natural black sap of a tree and then carved and decorate them with different designs and colors. Remember that the lacquers with blue color are mostly artificial and those with yellow, red and green are natural colors and are not with chemical addictives.

Mandalay is the second biggest city within the Union of Myanmar you will find embroidery beyond your imagination, traditional wall carpets but also fashion clothes enriched with magnificent embroidery and accessories.
