Pagodas, Ethnic, and Way of life of the People and it's famous attraction…

Pagodas
Mrauk U is famous as the center of sand stone culture building. Most Pagodas are built by sand stone and the art of their building technique can be divided into three parts, the small pagodas are early period style and they are very likely to the pagodas from Wasali period, above the bell shape there is square shape relic chamber and next come embrella section, and also can call Sri Lanka type, for example Lin Pan Pyauk pagoda, Mote Seit Taw pagoda.
           At the middle age, gave the high light to the slindrical shape part which is upper the dome shape, ex. Shit Thaung pagoda, and Toke Kanthein, Entaw thein pagoda, and Koethaung pagoda.
          At the latest age, built to the focus of high, great and enthusiastic. But the same things are sands stone builds all stupas and the iron pillars are used as the core of the embrella.

Ehtnic and Way Of Life
Study to the Rakhine people villages, and Chin villages that own different character from Rakhine although they live in Rakhine state. Cross the Lay Mro River by boat and visit to Sin Oh village, Palatwa town ship and Kumila border pass and Ngar Shine village. Sometime can be seen beautiful Chin ladies who beautifully tattoo on their faces.
    Crusing by boat in Lay Mro river is the nice and the boat cross over the crystal water, and even can be seen their greenish plantation, the black babble texture is the lying under your cruise. Being the abundant of Monasteries the Bandoola monastery is the best and worth to visit.

To It's famous Attraction
Lay Mro River: Lay Mro means:" Four Cities" Once, four ancient cities flourished on the banks of this historic river. The water is crystal clear with pabbles and fishes everywhere. Lay Mro is a river of countless attraction.

Sin Oh Village: Sin Oh village can be reached by miles rugged road drive from Mrauk U. There are many beautiful orchards of mangoes and citrus fruits plantations near the village. It is one of the most scenic spots in Rakhine.

Krite Chaung: Krite Chaung is 5 miles upstream noth of Sin Oh. The banks are steep and Lay Mro meaders along it course. It is the place to enjoy outdoor life.

Sin Gay: Sin Gay is also 5 miles upstream from Krite Chaung. On sandbanks bamboo poles are made into rafts prepared for its journey to Sittwe. A picnic lunch on sundy shore of Sin Gay is also exciting.

Chin People: One can witness elderly Chin women with their faces tattooed and wearing peculiar clothing; ears are bored wide with silver earrings. Living in remote villages. This region is so primitive that custom and tradition are quite unlike of those of those of Rakhine tradition and styles.
