What is Mrauk U?
Mrauk U is one of the famous ancient city in Myanmar, which is situated in Rakhine State. There are in-numerous pagodas and Buddha images spreading all over the old city, the city was established in 15 century and remained its capital for 355 years. Besides, it is a city, which is full of treasury cultural heritage.

Where is Rakhine State In Myanmar?
Rakhine is situated in western side of Myanmar, between Rakhine Yoma (Mountain ranges) and Bay of Bangal. It is a place where the confluence of Kispanadi River and Lay Myo River. It is located (15) feet above the sea level.

The weather is temperate and the annual rainfall is always 200 inches.

Rakhine mountain ranges is over 4000 and 5000 feet in height, Share the border with in eastern bay of Bangal, northern with Chin state, Southern with Irrawaddy division, and at the eastern of the state is covered by Rakhine mountain ranges. Rakhine state is rather narrow coastal region.

The are very lucky persons as their situation is on the coastal belt so that they can make their living , relying on sea and marine products production, some people who live near the sea they became skillful fishermen, some of them produce marine products, and most of them are relying on the present of the sea. Generally they are sea lovers.
