Detail Itinerary
Day 01 Tamu - Shwebo
Arrival at Tamu, Drive to Shwebo, the native
town of U Aungzeya, the founder of the
Konebaung dynasty. The Pyu culture taking back
to the second century AD at Hanlin, the ruins of
which can still be seen, a few miles south of
Shwebo. Overnight at Shwebo.
Day 02 Shwebo - Mandalay
After breakfast, drive to Mandalay. Sightseeing
highlights include visit to famous Mahamuni
Pagoda; traditional silk-weaving industry;
Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as
the World's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of
Buddhist scriptures; Kyauktawgyi Pagoda.
Overnight in Mandalay
Day 03 Mandalay Amarapura Ava - Sagaing (by
car/boat)
After breakfast drive to an ancient city of
AMARAPURA, (the city of immortality),to visit
famous wooden bridge of U Bein ,then continue to
MAHAGANDA YONE monastery to observe the lunch
process of hundred of Buddhist monks. Proceed to
other ancient capital of AVA, by boat cross over
the Myit Nge river, observing unique monasteries
and other religious monuments. Proceed to
Sagaing by boat also an ancient capital and the
living center of Buddhist faith. Return to
Mandalay to overnight.
Day 04 Mandalay - Bagan
Transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. Then
transfer to hotel for check-in and lunch at
local restaurant. After taking rest for a while,
proceed for sightseeing includes, Nyaung Oo
Market; SHWEZIGON PAGODA, a prototype of later
Myanmar stupas; WETKYI-INN GUBYAUKKYI TEMPLE
with fine mural paintings and HTILOMINLO TEMPLE,
noted for its plaster carvings.
Day 05 Bagan
Visits to MANUHA TEMPLE with gigantic Buddha
images, a captive kings impression of life in
prison; NANPAYA TEMPLE, an Early-style temple
with the finest stone carvings; ANANDA TEMPLE,
an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek
Cross, riding the horse cart around the town.
Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch,
sightseeing includes Bagan Archeological Museum,
THATBYINNYU TEMPLE, and the highest of Bagan
temples, Kyan Sit tha U-Min Cave, Damayangyi Temple,
the massive temple in Bagan. Enjoy sunset view
from one of the temples. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 06 Bagan Heho Pindaya - Nyaung Shwe (Inle)
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight
to Heho. Drive to the small quiet town Pindaya,
48km north of Kalaw, to visit Pindaya Lake and
Pindaya cave, well known for its countless
Buddha images. Enjoy also the great scenic
beauty of the countryside along the road to
Pindaya. Evening drive to Nyaung Shwe (Inle
Lake). Overnight at Inle Lake.
Day 07 Inle
Morning excursion in Inle Lake (by boat), famous
for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty.
Tour highlights, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, wonderful
floating gardens; floating market; native
methods of fishing; and village life on the
Lake. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08 Heho -Yangon
After breakfast transfer to Heho airport for
flight to Yangon. Afternoon sightseeing features
Shwedagon Pagoda, the world famous glittering
gold stupa towering over the city with a great
spire to the height of 326 feet; Chaukhtatkyi, a
colossal reclining Buddha; and Bogyoke (Scott)
Market, a famous shopping center of Yangon.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight
in Yangon.
Day 09 Departure
After breakfast, drive to airport and departure,
