Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Lashio-PyinOoLwin
Arrival at Muse drive to Lashio. Visit to Lashio
market where local hill tribes can be seen. Quan
Yin San Chinese Temple, Pyi Lone Chantha Paya
and Tour continue with visit to workshop near
Kyaukme Making Shan paper. After viewing the
Gokteik viaduct rail bridge, drive to Pyin Oo
Lwin and sunset watching at Kyauk Taung Pagoda.
Overnight at Pyin Oo Lwin.
Day 02: PyinOoLwin- Mandalay
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Pyin Oo
Lwin include visits to Pwe Kauk Waterfall, Peik
Chin Myaung Caves, Botanical Gardens and town
surroundings. After lunch, return by coach to
Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay, transfer to
Hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 03: Mandalay
After breakfast drive to jetty to observe the
daily life at the waterfront. Proceed to Mingun
by boat, observe the world largest Mingun Pahto
and Mingun bell. Turn back to Mandalay by boat
and lunch at local restaurant. After lunch,
sightseeing start to Mahamuni pagoda, Kuthodaw,
729 marble slabs with Buddhist scriptures.
Shwenandaw monastery for its fine carvings.
Proceed to Mandalay hill for its panoramic view.
Dinner and puppet show in the night.
Day 04: Mandalay-Bagan
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight
to Bagan. Visits to Nyaung Oo Market; Shwezigon
Pagoda, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas;
Wetkyi-inn Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural
paintings of Jataka scenes and Htilominlo
Temple, noted for its plaster carvings. Then
transfer to hotel for check-in and lunch at
restaurant. Afternoon, visits to lacquerware
industry; Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha
images, a captive king's impression of life in
prison; Nanpaya, an Early-style temple with the
finest stone carvings; Ananda Temple, an
architectural masterpiece. Thatbyinnyu, the
highest of Bagan temples. Dinner at local
restaurant and overnight in Bagan.
Day 05: Bagan-Heho-Pindaya- Nyaung Shwe (Inle)
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight
to Heho. Drive to the small quiet town Pindaya,
48km north of Kalaw, to visit Pindaya Lake and
Pindaya cave, well known for its countless
Buddha images. Enjoy also the great scenic
beauty of the countryside along the road to
Pindaya. Evening drive to Nyaung Shwe (Inle
Lake). Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Nyaung Shwe (Inle)
Morning excursion in Inle Lake (by boat), famous
for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty.
Tour highlights, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, wonderful
floating gardens; floating market; native
methods of fishing; and village life on the
Lake. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Heho-Yangon
After breakfast transfer to Heho airport for
flight to Yangon. Afternoon sightseeing features
Shwedagon Pagoda, the world famous glittering
gold stupa towering over the city with a great
spire to the height of 326 feet; Chaukhtatkyi, a
colossal reclining Buddha; and Bogyoke (Scott)
Market, a famous shopping center of Yangon.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight
in Yangon.
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast, drive to airport and departure.
